Blog#2
My passion is becoming a doctor one day and to prove everyone else wrong who said I can’t do it. Ever since I was a little girl in Guyana I always wanted to be a doctor to help others and cure sickness because I always like seeing people smile and enjoy their lives. I am currently attending LaGuardia Community College majoring in liberal arts math and science and after I get my associate degree I planned to attend hunter college to get my bachelors degree in pre-medicine. Back in high school I volunteer in a hospital for two years feeding patients, talking to them, and watching them take their medicines and so on I then realize at that same moment I had made up my mind to major in pre-medicine. I know a lot of people try to put you down and tell you that its very hard but I had this one teacher called Mr.Fermet in medical technology he taught us to believe in ourselves and don’t care what other people think as long you believe in yourself and you work as hard as you possible you can achieve the American dream of becoming who you want to be and to succeed in life and don’t let anyone tell u that you can’t succeed as long you have determination and dedication you can do it. I am very grateful to Mr. Gore for making us realize how we affect the environment and making us well aware of how we can save the environment and how we can avoid harming it. When I saw the movie of an Inconvenient Truth and listened to Mr. Gore’s passion towards the environment I realize that’s how I feel about medicine and of curing diseases that affects us and diseases that killed many people in the United States and all of the world and if we can at least find cures or treat it we can save many lives all over the world .I have learned you never know where inspirations can come.

That is a very lofty passion and a hard goal, but you should go for it--definitely.
And the thing is, there are SO MANY ways to achieve a goal, if one is flexible enough. As with Gore, sometimes you think your path goes this way and then you realize that you have been going another path all the time and that, in the end, that other path is as good or even better than the one you thought you were following.
I wish you all the success with your goals. You should not let people and their ideas of what they think you should be affect or drive you to change your goals. Good luck
We do have something in common. I am determined to be a doctor as well, just a little different from the doctor you want to become; a dentist is my goal. With such a long way to go in school, just keep your head up and stay focused on your goals. Once you achieve them you will then be a great asset to the world.
Go for it!!!! I think it is marvellous that you are so passionate about your future career. It always starts off like this...Big dreams are achieved step by step and like your teacher told you, do not pay attention to evil or negative people. They failed to achieve their dreams and that is why they are so bitter. Unfortunately, the more successful you are in life, the more haters you meet. The key is keeping a positive spirit no matter what!
I like the layout of your page. I also see your personality come through.I see that you're ambitous and also determined to show everyone that doubted you that you didn't give up or you won't. That's basically why I'm still in college. I want to prove to so many people out there that I can go through hardships in life , but I will still go after what I want. Don't let anything get in your way.
Your context is pretty cool, you're writing what you feel... that's why it's called a blog lol.. i think you know what you want..which is basically the same as me...
I say you express your ideas and interest in your blogs very well so you get a plus on that.
